A few weeks ago, we dove into the world of wedding attire for guests and mothers of the bride or groom. While dressing up is always fun, our true calling lies in the everyday essentials—the jeans, tees, and cashmere that form our daily uniform. This week, we’re focusing on our favorite wardrobe foundation: denim. Since spring is here, we’re leaning into lighter washes and brighter tones to put a little spring in your step. And don’t worry about what “style”—barrel, wide, or straight-leg - is “trending” right now. Buy whatever style feels good for you!

Mother is famous for its Hustler jean, and this one in a flower print is definitely fun. It’s made from stretch denim and features a high-rise, zip fly, patch pockets, and a clean hem.
Madewell has some great off-white choices, a great transition to spring. The Perfect Vintage Wide Leg Crop, in Vintage Canvas, has a wide leg - but not too wide - and is cropped with a raw hem.
We love the Nili Lotan Shon jean. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but it is worth the splurge. They come in many colors, but try the white for spring! Featuring a mid-rise bow-leg born from vintage workwear and reimagined in premium Japanese non-stretch denim.
We love Pistola jeans, and these in yellow scream spring! The Lexi has a straight leg with a mid-rise waist, a sculpted bowed leg, and a soft curve at the knee.
Pretty in pink with these light pink jeans. This DL 1961 Karmine is a high-rise, wide-leg, with five-pocket styling.
Add a pop of color to your outfit with AG’s iconic Sage jean in this perfect red, featuring a mid-rise fit, wide leg, and raw ankle-length hem.
Boden has a great array of striped jeans, which feature a high-rise shape and straight-leg.
We’re seeing some combo denim jeans for spring, like these color-blocking ones from J.Crew, for a fresh take on blue denim. High rise, ankle-length inseam, slim through the hip, and wide through the thigh and leg. Jo has these and loves them!
And we love a kicky crop jean to expose those ankles after a long winter. The Flare Crop Jean in Super Soft Denim from Madewell has been a FabList favorite for years. Fitted through the hips and thighs, these mid-rise jeans feature a flattering, kicked-out, cropped flare.
